HOW IS WALLCOTE APPLIED
Before THERMAL-CRETE can be applied a through preparation of the substrate surface is carried out to a very strict specification . Our basic methods are shown below but may involve alternative methods dependent on the substrate and condition of it.
* PROTECTION : All working areas will be protected with plastic and cloth drop sheets
* FIXTURES & FITTINGS :These will alll be removed and re-instated on completion of works.
* CLEANING DOWN : All areas to be treated will be cleaned down using several methods .
Power washing needle gunning
* BIOCIDE : All areas will be treated with a biocide to remove any final mould or contamination.
* BLOWN RENDER : All blown areas of the substrate that are blown will be removed and re-instated as original substrate surface.
* CRACKS : All cracks will be cut out and repaired as to the company's specification including stitching if required with epoxy resin
* DOORS & WINDOWS : All will be checked for voids and filled with the appropriate resin./ fillers.
* MASKING UP : All areas that are not to be treated will be masked up as required.
* SOLAR SHIELD : All areas will be primed with
Solar-Shield etching primer using brush , roller or airless spray.
* MASTEX WALLCOTE : On completion of the surface preparation and protection the coating is applied by high pressure spray to the manufacturers recommended application rates
* DE -MASKING ; All areas will be demasked and any blemish's touched in, all fixtures and fitting to be re-instated
* COMPLETION : On completion of all works, all scaffolding, plant, debris and rubbish to be removed and site left in a clean and tidy condition.

* DE -MASKING ; All areas will be demasked and any blemish's touched in, all fixtures and fitting to be re-instated
* COMPLETION : On completion of all works, all scaffolding, plant, debris and rubbish to be removed and site left in a clean and tidy condition.
